Tina began her journey in the health food world as an architect turned food blogger. After finding out her son was allergic to nuts and soy, she started a passionate journey of developing her very own rye crispbread without theses allergens. Inspired by the traditional Knækbrød (rye crispbread) of her native Denmark, she created a custom crisp made from rye flour, olive oil and energizing superfoods including chia, flax and pumpkin seeds.
Couple of years after introducing her tasty Nordic crisps to the world, Hungry Bird received the ‘Good Food’ award from the Good Food Foundation who recognize food products with exceptional taste and a deep commitment to social responsibility.
Her nut-free granola is part of our “Health in a box” gift, made locally in small batches and has all the classic spices, but with a little Nordic twist and a tiny kick of white pepper and ginger.
You can enjoy it the traditional way with milk/yogurt, or as a crunchy dessert on top of vanilla ice cream 😊 either way it’s delicious!
